I just had to share this card with ya'll.
I haven't really had time to Craft lately, as every time I sit down in my Craftroom my 4 year old Grandaughter thinks it is time for her to make a card. PLUS my 8 year old Grandson is now an avid card maker. He's pretty good to http://tristans-time-4-craftin.blogspot.com/ .
Well tonight I sat down to start making invites for my 6 year Grandson's 7th Birthday on March 6th, when Kieran entered my Craft room. If you know anything about Autistic kids some don't talk much, make eye contact and they can be a handful. Just last year, Kieran FINALLY made a bond, and that bond is with me :) I love him so much!!
Anyways back to the subject...... Upon entering he goes to my Cricut Cartridge and grabs Animal Kingdom off the shelf. I ask if he wants to make something and he hands me the cartridge.
I gave him the booklet to look at (I'll be ordering a new booklet) and he choose the Lion. So I ask him if he wants to choose the size and colors. He did choose the size (a little big but.... oh well) so I chose paper ;) I got everything cut out and asked if Kieran wanted to put the Lion that ROARS together,
he didn't move, so I started. I ran it through the Cuttlebug then started layering when Kieran came over and decided he was going to do the face (I knew this when he grabbed it out of my hands) he even did the circle on the nose and traced the mouth , it isn't perfect but to me it's the cutest!! He also added the pattern cardstock to the card.
